How to Find and Fight Seasonal Allergies

As Spring dies down, many people have been suffering from the typical seasonal allergy. Almost everybody has seasonal allergies and despises the usual sniffling and scratching, but how do you understand how to prevent and stop almost all allergies in the horrid springtime?

Some very common symptoms are sneezing, scratching, runny nose, and coughing. A runny nose is the most common symptom followed by sneezing and coughing. Most people who suffer from seasonal allergies have these symptoms, and anyone who doesn’t is very lucky.

Many people, like Ethan Heavey, are allergic to pollen. Pollen is a powderlike substance that is used to reproduce flowers and is commonly carried from plant to plant by bees or other insects. Because pollen is the most common allergy, it is very easy to tell if you are allergic. In the U.S. alone, over 81 million people suffer from this common allergy.

You can prevent symptoms from such an allergy by going to the doctor, seeing a trusted adult or friend, or taking medication. Heavey states “My mom gives me medicine, she gives me Allegra and a nasal thing that helps me.” With his mom’s help, his allergies are weakened, but he still has to help himself.

He helps himself by “always having some tissues with me, just in case.” Heavy takes the necessary precautions for his nose and coughs by having tissues and a full water bottle. This way he can deal with his allergies without ever having to move and bother others

In conclusion, allergies are very common and are mostly nothing to worry about. There are many different ways to deal with allergies but carrying tissues and a water bottle is the easiest. Taking medicine can help, but only the ones a doctor has prescribed to you.
