¡Adios 8th Grade!

The 2022-2023 school year has been full of great times for the Holy Redeemer eighth grade. Mary Claire Lindh will have been at Holy Redeemer for 10 years by the time she graduates. She will be going to Nerinx Hall. She says she’ll be sad about leaving her friends, but she’ll be excited to try new things. “I’ll really miss the social aspects though, like talking and being with my old friends.” said Lindh. She says that she’ll miss being comfortable with knowing and being around her teachers and friends. Her favorite memory was the Springfield trip. Tommy Pitlyk’s favorite memory was the 7th grade bike trip and his all day field trip with Mrs. Martz and his friends. Pitlyk will, after graduation, have been at Holy Redeemer for 4 years. Pitlyk said that he’s going to be sad about leaving his friends that won’t be attending his high school of choice, Saint Louis University High School. What he is most looking forward to in high school is either the different class options or the extracurricular activities. All that’s left to say now is thank you and “¡Adios 8th grade!”
