Mrs. Pahl is the new principal of Holy Redeemer, and she’s been in education for a long time. She started as a teacher, now leads our school, and still loves spending time with the students. She’s super friendly; if you see her around, she’s always smiling and ready to help.
Mrs. Pahl’s first job wasn’t in a classroom, it was as a day camp counselor. She loved working with kids back then, and that love has stuck with her throughout her whole career. Her favorite part of being a principal is hanging out with the students, whether she’s reading to students or watching over the cafeteria.
During the week, Mrs. Pahl works late hours, but on Fridays, she heads to the Lake of the Ozarks to relax. She goes there every weekend with her dog, Abby, who has two different-colored eyes, which Mrs. Pahl thinks is super cool. Even though she still gets work done over the weekend, being at the lake is her way to unwind after a long week.
Mrs. Pahl used to run cross country, she competed in the two-mile and one-mile relays in school. Her kids also love sports, Sarah, Brian, and Bret all played soccer and baseball growing up. Sarah, who is 34 now, also loves horseback riding, and Mrs. Pahl enjoys watching her ride.
If Mrs. Pahl wasn’t a principal or a teacher, she says she would want to help other teachers get better at teaching. Her dad was her favorite teacher growing up because he taught her the importance of learning, which is something she’s always remembered.
Mrs. Pahl says the best part of Holy Redeemer is the students! She’s always impressed with how polite and respectful they are. She also reminds us to appreciate our parents because they do a lot to make sure we get a good education. Mrs. Pahl thinks Holy Redeemer is a special place, she feels lucky to be our principal. She encourages us to take advantage of all the great things our school offers and to always do our best. Mrs. Pahl is a principal who truly cares about her students and our school. Holy Redeemer is lucky to have her leading the school!
