The annual Advent Concert finally happened, and with it, it brought Christmas cheer back to Holy Redeemer! School hallways were filled with excitement and joy as everyone was excited to share their cheer with HR parents in a very special way.
Grades Pre-K through Seventh sang several Christmas songs including Silent Night, Joy to the World, and Away in a Manger. Eighth grade has the special privilege to narrate the Advent Concert. The event was held in the church and no pews were left empty. Parents, siblings, and grandparents all showed up to enjoy a special Christmas performance. Songs were practiced, dresses worn, and ties tied as the kids dressed their very best for their time to shine on the altar.
Holy Redeemer’s music teacher, Mr. Treu, directed and organized the concert. He worked very hard for this show and as stressful as it may have been, it definitely paid off. “I’m most excited about Kindergarten singing their song. They really like it and have it really well memorized.” – Mr. Treu
