The Holy Redeemer Gazette sent out a survey that allowed students to tell others what they like about Holy Redeemer and what they think we should improve on. Here is what Holy Redeemers Middle Schoolers had to say:
When asked “How do you feel about specials?” The majority said they were “OK.” A decent amount said they are “Fun.” Molly Wilson, a sixth grader at our school, said “They are fun because we get to do interesting things, like recreating a song in music and playing games in P.E.”
Many people said the academic system was hard but well-structured. They also said it was good for them because it is a little bit of a challenge. We got 31 votes that Holy Redeemer is a fun school. Many people said that they liked communities most at Holy Redeemer. However, unsurprisingly, recess and lunch were students’ overall favorite things. They also said they like the teachers and their friends. Students said that they liked how nice and funny the teachers were, but also said they thought the teachers were strict but helpful. When asked how Holy Redeemer should improve, many people said middle schoolers should get more recess. They also said that we should do communities more often. Overall students like Holy Redeemer’s teachers, fellow students, the challenging academic system, and communities.
